Welcome to the Small Group Ministries of First Church
First Church of Christ has many opportunities for group activities and small group ministries. All groups provide education, fellowship, spiritual and service components, but each emphasizes one or more of these elements.
Ministering to one another through sharing of common interests, personal faith and caring.
Small groups provide support and encouragement through Koinonia, a life-sharing experience - an in-depth connection with Christ and one another.
Small groups are Biblical - Jesus formed a small group of twelve.
Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, no neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some. -- Hebrews 10
ADULT FELLOWSHIP, EDUCATION and SUPPORT
Church Circle
Provides spiritual growth and fellowship with other women through monthly programs, service projects and social activities.

All are welcome any week for good news, prayer and discussion of a provided meditational text.

Exercise Group
A congenial group of women and men who use free weights and elastic bands for strength training. Stretching to improve and maintain flexibility and an optional 2-mile walk video for cardio fitness. Adaptions are made for post therapist rehab and individual needs.
Mon./Wed./Fri. 9:30-11:00 am. No commitment -- $2.00 per session.

Fair Craft Group
Meets every Tuesday 9 am-12 noon, Sept. -- Nov. Work on various crafts to be sold at the Craft Fair, or bring your own craft. Everyone is welcome.

Memorial Garden Group
Informal group that tends the patio garden by sweeping, watering, weeding, pruning etc. As available, work on the general church grounds. Informal-no structure-moderate work-meaningful social contact.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Weave healing prayers into knitted shawls for those in need of comfort.
